Submission

All papers (regular, special session, BMI workshop, junior track) must be submitted electronically using PaperCept.
Please go to the PaperCept Conference Manuscript Management System page, available at http://conf.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl,
and follow the conference link in order to upload your manuscript.

Only PDF files will be accepted. The maximum file size for uploading all papers is set to 2 MB.

  • All papers submitted to IEEE SMC2019, whether for review or publication upon acceptance, must be written in English and formatted in the standard 2-column format provided on PaperCept.
  • For the purpose of the "review" process, all regular and invited papers are limited to 8 pages. PaperCept will not allow longer papers to be uploaded. The decision regarding the acceptance of each papers at discretion of the Conference's Technical Program Committee.
  • In order to be suitable for publication in the Conference proceedings, all accepted and invited papers are limited to 6 pages. Authors may upload longer manuscript up to a maximum 8 pages total. However, each page exceeding six will incur an additional charge of € 50.
  • If the paper is accepted, one of the authors listed on the paper must attend the Conference and present the paper according to the schedule decided by the Conference's Technical Program Committee.
  • At least one of the authors listed on the paper must register for IEEE SMC2019 to upload the final manuscript.
  • Student registrant may upload one final paper.
  • Regular registrants may upload up to 2 final papers.
  • All submissions will be tested for similarity and overlap with prior published material using iThenticate tool. Results of such overlap will be made available to the Program Committee for evaluation. In case of possible violations of the IEEE ethics rules in publishing, the case will be investigated by the Conference Administrators.

Templates provided here have been created to ensure that margin requirement is adequately met.
Authors are responsible for submitting their paper in the required format. All papers that are accepted will be published as submitted by the Author. The Conference is not responsible for editing or correcting errors in the paper.
